Terms of service

Last updated June 2026

The agreement between you and Siplo.

About Siplo

Siplo offers curated, self-guided wine-tourism routes and venue information for the Niagara region. We provide information and hand directions off to your maps app — we don’t sell alcohol, operate the venues, or provide transport.

Drink responsibly

Never drink and drive. Plan a designated driver, car service, or other safe transport before you set out, and always drink within your limits and the law. You’re responsible for your own safety and choices on every route.

Legal drinking age

You must be of legal drinking age — 19 or older in Ontario — to use Siplo.

Purchases

Most routes are a one-time purchase through Apple’s In-App Purchase, unlocked for you to keep. Prices are shown in your local currency. Purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; restore-purchases brings them back on a new device.

Accuracy

Hours, tasting fees, reservation policies and other details change often. We keep them as current as we can, and show live hours where available, but we can’t guarantee accuracy — always confirm with the venue before you go.

Venues and third parties

Wineries and other venues are independent businesses we don’t control. Your visit, what you’re served, and any bookings are between you and them. The same applies to third-party services like Apple Maps and Google Maps.

Using the app

Siplo is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, resell, scrape or otherwise misuse the content or the app.

No warranty and liability

Siplo is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app or visiting venues — you do both at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Siplo after an update means you accept the new terms.
